Beautifully Broken
God will reveal our areas of brokenness and bruises in order for us to live in wholeness and spiritual wellness. Exposing places of hurt is painful, but it is in the place of exposure where God comforts us and where we receive healing.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow]. Psalm 147:3 AMP
Some of us have allowed ourselves to be buried in our sorrow -- unwilling to bring the dark places into the light. Any promise of healing becomes a distant, unattainable hope. But wounds need to be brought to the Light, unashamed and uncovered.
Our suffering, when endured and exposed, are stepping stones toward something greater; something we cannot see right now, but God sees it. His artistry of our shattered pieces create a tapestry of all that is broken and He makes it beautiful. The future and the hope God has for us is made up of those broken pieces. It is time to shift how we see our wounds and how we see ourselves.
We are beautifully broken.
Friends, I pray you find hope again. I pray you believe again. Your wounds are not too deep for a God, but they just may be too deep for you to manage on your own. You need a savior.
It is acceptable and noble for you to call on the name of our Healer. He makes our scars mean more than the pain that they stood for. He makes us strong, brave, and beautiful.
“Beloved, I will strengthen you and I will help you. I determine the number of the stars and call them each by name. Like I care for the stars, I care for you. Step aside and allow me to put the pieces back together. Look for My hand; I am reaching out to you. I am providing ways of rescue. Will you accept My help? I am here and healing will be yours. Simply put, I love you - brokenness and all.” Your Heavenly Father
