He Gets All the Glory

“Worship Yahweh with gladness. Sing your way into his presence with joy! And realize what this really means- we have the privilege of worshiping Yahweh our GOD. For He is our Creator, and we belong to him. We are the people of His pleasure.” Psalm 100:2-3 Passion Translation (TPT)

Worship means to praise and serve God. We worship and praise God for who He is, for what He has done and for what we are trusting Him to do in our lives. He alone is God!. “For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.” Psalm 95:3 NIV.

God is worthy of worship because He is the Creator of all people. Yahweh is Elohim, our Creator, and made the heavens and the earth. The whole earth is called to worship Yahweh with joy, gratitude, service, and loyalty. When we serve our God, we enter into our first works with Him and display our public worship. God is faithful! Our proof of genuine worship is our faithful obedience to the One who is faithful even when we are not! Our faithful God has never stopped loving us and all that He has done for us has been rooted in love.

He loves us with a “chesed” or unfailing love. His lovingkindness refers to God's steadfast love and covenant loyalty. His faithfulness leads us to revere Him in obedience. As a Christian, my loyalty is to Yahweh, and I have no obligation to the enemy. I owe my life to Jesus Christ who made the ultimate sacrifice and exchanged His life for my life. I am redeemed by the blood of the lamb; my debt was paid in full. Hallelujah!

When we worship God, it reflects the outward expression of our inner attitude. It may be displayed through a song, the lifting of our hands, or even our tears. True worship comes by worshiping in Spirit and in truth. We must have a heart that desires a close personal relationship with God our Father. When we worship in truth, we worship in a biblically accurate way through Jesus Christ who is the Truth, the Way, and the Life.

No one can come next to the Father except through the Son. When we magnify God, we focus our praise and worship directly on Him. He is bigger than all of our problems, circumstances and situations. By doing this, we see Him for the great and awesome GOD that he truly is and our perspective changes. He makes our heart glad, and we are thankful. As the song writer said, “Who wouldn’t serve a God like this?!”

Praise and Prayer:
